TC Colleges Receive Awards for TC League
Various colleges of Talamban Campus received the awards they won for this year’s TC League during the activity’s closing ceremony yesterday evening at the TC Covered Court.
TC League is a multi-tournament activity where all colleges of Talamban Campus compete against each other in five different sport categories: basketball, volleyball for men, volleyball for women, soccer and flag football.
For flag football, the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) won third place, the College of Engineering (CoE) was proclaimed second place, and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) finished first place.
CAFA, CAS and multi-college team Team-mo-ti were proclaimed third, second and first place respectively for the men’s division of volleyball.
For the women’s division of volleyball, the School of Health Care Professions (SHCP) won third place, CAFA finished as second place, and CoE was proclaimed first place.
Multi-college team Grassroots A, CoE and CAFA were awarded third place, second and first place for soccer.
For basketball, CAS won third place; Gamma, an Engineering team, was proclaimed second place; and Alpha, another Engineering team, finished as first place.
TC League 2014 ran from Nov. 24 to Dec. 13. It is spearheaded by the Collegiate Engineering Council and co-organized by the CAS Council, CAFA Council, Junior Philippine Pharmacists Association – Pi Chapter and Student Body Organization – Nursing.
